Registration

The Lodge is a long established Nursery School, based in the United Reform Church, St John's Hill Sevenoaks.  We benefit from the use of two halls and a private garden, which provides a flexible learning and playing environment.

You are warmly invited to make an appointment to come and see the setting for yourself.

If you would like to register your child with us, please complete the registration form below.

Our waiting list is arranged in order of enrolling, but gives preference to siblings. We will also give preference to children already over the age of 3 years if places in that age group are available and a prior offer of a place has not been declined.

We continually reflect on our practices and strive to provide an environment which encourages continuous improvement.

Please complete the registration form and return it via email to info@thelodgenurseryschool.co.uk or by post to:

From September 2021 the fees will be £24.30 per morning ie. £6.94 per hour. The full fees must be paid for children under 3 years of age.

Children entering the term following their third birthday are entitled to receive the 15 hours per week Free Early Education Offer.   All 3 and 4 year olds and some 2 year olds are entitled to up to 15 hours of free early education.  At The Lodge, this can be accessed for 3 hours of each morning they attend.  There are a number of other schemes available to help with childcare costs. To check your eligibility go to the Childcare Choices website.

Deposit

Deposit on acceptance of your child's place

A deposit of £100 is to be paid on acceptance of your child’s place.   The deposit will be returned to you in full at the end of your child’s first academic year at The Lodge, or once your child has left The Lodge subject to notice period, and all fees are paid.  If you wish to withdraw your child or reduce the number of sessions, half a term’s notice must be given.  Failure to give notice will result in half a term’s fees being charged.  If you decide to withdraw your child from The Lodge after you have accepted your place, or at any time without half a term’s notice, the deposit remains payable and will not be refunded.

I hope you understand that it is necessary for us to take a deposit as, if a place is accepted and later not taken up, we can lose the opportunity to fill the place for an entire year.  Our intake is once a year and, if we turn our waiting list away once our places are accepted, families make other arrangements.   We are left with places we can’t fill for an entire academic year which threatens our sustainability.
